La Nuit Trésor by Lancome – Review

A review on La Nuit Trésor by Lancome, Eau de Parfum

I recently discovered La Nuit Trésor Eau de Parfum by Lancome and I’m in love. That in itself is a substantial feat because the last time I loved a scent so much, was when Bright Crystal by Versace was released.

Here’s the thing though, in terms of the fragrance and the vibe, these two couldn’t be any more different.

Le Trésor envelops you in a mysterious warmth, it has a calm yet enigmatic aura.

This gourmand fragrance is perfect for someone in their 30’s, who exudes confidence, charm and understated elegance. She knows what she wants and knows how to get it. She is modern yet romantic, she isn’t afraid of speaking her mind, she is strong yet immensely feminine. The fragrance is rich, intricate and deep.

To simplify, the advert for La Nuit Trésor Eau de Parfum features the beautiful Penelope Cruz and all that she represents.

The advertising pr emphasizes love, but to me when I wear it, it is a more inward sort of adoration, perhaps I fantasize about the kind of woman it represents worn.

Top Note: Lychee, Raspberry

Perfumer’s Notes

This new fragrance is Lancôme’s first ‘Gourmand Woody Floriental’ perfume.

The Black Rose; a symbol of absolute love, and the Vanilla Tahitensis Orchid; perfumery’s very own secret gem, combine with the sharpest green notes to create La Nuit Trésor’s alluring character that is reminiscent of an electric night.

This rich and exquisite women’s perfume was crafted by two master perfumers who combined their craftsmanship to create La Nuit Trésor Eau de Parfum. Beginning with a burst of delicious raspberry, the notes of a Damascena rose have then been enhanced to give the fragrance a deep and mysterious scent. Vanilla, grown on the petals of an orchid in Tahiti, gives the fragrance a solar and radiant note.

Lancome La Nuit Tresor fragrance by Lancome

  • It supposedly depicts the dark side of rose and mixes notes of black rose with Tahitian vanilla orchid absolute.
  • There are also accords of natural incense, papyrus, patchouli and litchi praline.
  • This Eau de Parfum comes in three sizes 50ml, 75ml and 100ml.

The longevity is between 8-12 hours, depending on the temperatures outside. The base notes are what’s most exotic about this scent.
