Ramadan Kareem! It’s officially here.
This is my first Ramadan on Keto and the only question I seem to have is what on earth do I eat? especially for Suhoor. Back home and up till last year my go-to usually was eggs and bread or oats or something like that, but this year I am conscientiously making an effort to eat high fat, minimal carb food in the little window of time that we do have to eat. which brings me back to my question.. what on earth do I eat?
Simplification, meal prepping and lazy hacks seem to have the key to intelligent eating and saving yourself valuable time to focus on what’s really important this month- spirituality.
Here are a couple of ideas for recipes, which I find super useful and I hope you do too! 🙂
Keto Egg wraps
Just skip the bacon or use beef bacon instead.
Keto Egg Muffins
You can prep a batch of these goodies and store them in airtight containers for up to 3 days- for those mid-week, can I skip Suhoor kind of days.
Keto Scotch Eggs – two ways
Turmeric Chia Pudding
Low Carb Keto Granola
Eggs, Avo & Greens
Need I say more?
Meals you may need to wake up half an hour earlier to prep
Baked Avocado Egg
Side note: It’s preferable to pair this incredible recipe with some sort of veggies- such as celery or tomatoes for easy digestion.
